Job Description:

The Information Support Officer provides high-level operational support. This role is responsible for processing sensitive material while ensuring the efficient delivery of record keeping and workflow management in a high-volume, dynamic environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Liaise, consult, and provide advice to internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Undertake complex administrative tasks including precise record keeping and task prioritisation
  • Handle information of a highly sensitive and confidential nature with total integrity, discretion, and tact
  • Make considered and ethical decisions based on an understanding of the broader legislative and organisational context
  • Build and sustain professional relationships to enable the collaborative delivery of customer-focused outcomes

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain and practically apply knowledge of legislative requirements
  • Exceptional literacy, with the capacity to review large volumes of information (minimum 400 pages per day) accurately
  • Demonstrated accountability for the quality of results through professionalism, persistence, and transparency in a high pressure environment
  • Proven ability to negotiate and communicate respectfully with a diverse range of internal and external clients
  • A high standard of practice in governance and risk management to ensure the safe and legal release of information
