Job Description:

Our client is one of the largest manufacturers of engineered precast in the world. They are looking for highly motivated Riggers to join their Welshpool, WA site. You will be responsible for setting up and operating rigging equipment to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment whilst in the construction phase of projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Operate rigging equipment, including cranes, hoists and pulleys
  • Perform regular inspections on rigging equipment to ensure they are fit for purpose and in a safe working condition
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure the safe and efficient completion of lifting operations
  • Transporting, Flipping concrete by using Gantry Crane
  • Signal or verbally direct team engaged in lifting or moving tasks to ensure safety
  • Outdoor environmental exposure
  • Assist other team members in all works being undertaken on site, not just rigging

Requirements:

  • White Card (essential)
  • Basic rigging ticket (essential)
  • Valid drivers license and own transport (essential)
  • Reliable and with high attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of rigging techniques, safety protocols, and the ability to work in challenging environments.
  • Excellent signalling, oral and written communication skills
  • An attitude of “Safety First” backed up by solid experience delivering safe and reliable work
  • Willing to undertake a pre-employment medical check which includes drug and alcohol screening
