Job Responsibility

  • Cleaning, testing, maintaining, prepping and repairing equipment prior to carrying out a job
  • Monitoring and repairing equipment during shows and any required fault finding
  • Building and installing equipment on site unsupervised, according to designated layout
  • Setting up and operating systems/equipment for smaller projects
  • Loading and unloading of equipment
  • Cleaning of equipment after shows and storing properly
  • Rigging and de-rigging of all equipment safely
  • Working as part of a team on and off site
  • Notifying Head of Department of all defective equipment
  • Providing a good level of support to the HOD
  • Performing annual inventory of all eclipse equipment as per the set procedures
  • Having a good understanding of department equipment
  • Interacting directly with clients on site in a customer-oriented manner
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations and wearing appropriate PPE
  • Reporting all health and safety issues to Group HSE Manager
  • Respecting and adhering to company policies, rules and procedures
  • Miscellaneous tasks within scope of work as assigned by direct supervisor
