As a Locum Tenens Rheumatologist, you'll have the opportunity to perform a range of procedures such as joint aspirations and injections, supported by a skilled team. Enjoy a flexible schedule with outpatient clinic shifts and 24-hour hospital call coverage two weeks per month.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide rheumatology care to adult and geriatric patients
  • Perform joint aspirations and corticosteroid injections
  • Manage clinic sessions and hospital-based call
  • Document patient interactions using the Epic EMR system

Requirements

  • Board Certified in Rheumatology
  • Michigan medical license required
  • Fellowship-trained in Rheumatology
  • BLS certification required
  • Ability to perform clinic and hospital-based rheumatology procedures
  • Proficient in joint aspirations and injections
  • Experience with Epic EMR preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and patient management skills
