Job Description:

Well-established private rheumatology practice in Columbus, Ohio seeks a board-certified or board-eligible rheumatologist to join our growing team. We are expanding into our second location on the east side of Columbus (Gahanna). Physician-owned, physician-led: Join a team of 10 rheumatologists and nine advanced practice providers making CAC the largest rheumatology private practice in Ohio.

Job Responsibility:

  • Control over how you structure your clinic, the patients you see, and how you practice medicine
  • Maximize patient care
  • Available for teaching residents from Ohio Health and Mount Carmel

Requirements:

  • Board-certified or board-eligible rheumatologist
  • Compassionate

  • Dedicated to providing excellent care and building lasting patient relationships

  • Consents and recruits patients for research studies on behalf of the PI
  • Coordinates and prepares the necessary documentation for Institutional Review Board (IRB) and Committee on Clinical Investigations (CCI) submissions, together with the PI
  • Assists the PI in the preparation and submission of publishable manuscripts, preparation and submission of conference abstracts, and presentation of research posters or oral presentations at regional/national conferences
  • Works with a multidisciplinary team involving dermatologists and rheumatologists to obtain and analyze imaging for patients
  • Coordinates and prepares the necessary documents to obtain and complete grant-funded applications and projects
  • Serves as a liaison between the PI and various other study sites as part of a multi-institutional research consortium
  • Performs other research and quality improvement projects as assigned or required from the department
  • Performs other miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned or required
