The successful candidate will assist the 350th Spectrum Warfare Group (350 SWG), at Eglin AFB, Florida. The 350 SWG is the technical focal point for all electronic warfare (EW) support of warfighter systems for the Combat Air Forces (CAF) fighter, bomber, airborne surveillance and helicopter platforms.
Job Responsibility:
Assist the 350th Spectrum Warfare Group (350 SWG) at Eglin AFB, Florida
Support EW system programming/reprogramming
Work with EW system engineers to coordinate programming/reprogramming requirements
Prepare validation and verification testing
Participate in ground and flight testing
Organize and participate in mission data configuration control boards (MDCCB)
Assist with the collection, recording, and post-test analysis of data generated during mission data (MD) testing
Program threat parametrics on a variety of radio frequency (RF) Environment Simulator(s)
Produce high-fidelity RF simulations of threat radar systems including ground-based and airborne systems
Program scenarios for static and dynamic testing of the EW equipment
Determine and assign intelligence threat definitions for complex programming parameters with emphasis on threat radar systems
Conduct detailed analysis and interpolate data from intelligence sources used for programming complex threat models and simulations
Conduct peer reviews of A2PATS files, post-test simulation results, and building of threat scenarios
Attend Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), design reviews, Mission Data Working Groups (MDWGs), Threat Working Groups (TWGs) and other meetings as needed
Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship
High School Diploma with 10 years of experience or a Bachelor's Degree with 2 years
Active Secret security clearance
At least 1+ years of RF threat simulation testing experience
Working knowledge of the RF threat simulators and radar technology
Ability to recognize and analyze problems, conduct research, summarize results, and make appropriate recommendations
Working knowledge of computer systems and an understanding of Windows-based personal computers and Microsoft Office software
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written
Ability to travel
Nice to have:
Previous experience with RF integration
Electromagnetic (EM) spectrum management
Antenna design
Digital signal processing
High level of experience in modeling/simulation
EW weapons systems development, test and evaluation, and systems engineering experience
Knowledge of DoD test and evaluation methodologies
Ability to utilize specialized test equipment such as real time spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, synthesizers, waveform generators and network analyzers
Experience with Intel sources such as Common Emitter Database (CED) and Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming Database (EWIRDB)
Experience programming in A2PATS
Experience conducting EW models supporting MD testing
Experience programming 5th generation parametric for threat identification
