Amentum is seeking an RF System Engineer to join our team providing laboratory and Test Event support at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, and surrounding areas.
Job Responsibility:
Performing laboratory work to conduct EMC, EMV, and HERO testing at NSWCDD E3 Test Facilities including anechoic and reverberation chambers
Works closely with other project scientists/engineers/technicians, as well as with Integrated Product Team members at other locations
Supports NSWCDD by providing E3 systems engineering/guidance and requirements traceability for HERO, EMV, and MIL STD 464 test/analysis efforts
Provides system-level E3 Test and Evaluation support for EMC testing and DC magnetics testing
Collaborates with sponsors to provide E3 systems engineering guidance, develop test plans, execute tests, evaluate data, and provide test reports
Test Event Support will include overnight and local day travel to various test sites and vendors
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Physics
Three (3) to six (6) years of E3 Specialized EMC, EMV, or HERO engineering experience
Three (3) to six (6) years of experience with conducting and analyzing electronic systems testing
Must be able to obtain and maintain Active Secret US Government Clearance
US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance
