This position presents the opportunity to apply expertise in Radio Frequency (RF) and Microwave (MW) Engineering to support NuWaves’ primarily DoD projects, ultimately supporting the US Military. Opportunities exist within the Engineering domain and across the company to increase knowledge, grow leadership skills, and continuously improve the business system.
Job Responsibility:
Work within an integrated product team assisting in the design of NuWaves’ product development
Lead the design of high-performance RF circuitry within 12 months
Write system and sub-system requirements of non-complex RF/MW systems
Capable of deriving the requirements within 18 months
Support the writing of technical proposals, status reports, whitepapers, and other technical papers within 4 months
Generate a working understanding of NuWaves’ business system within 60 days, with the goal of contributing to system improvements thereafter
This includes understanding the company strategy and working within NuWaves’ Quality Management System
Requirements:
Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) or related field
2-6 years RF design experience
U.S. Citizenship
knowledge of RF/MW circuits that include power amplifiers through C-Band, RF upconverters and downconverters, RF filters, and low noise amplifiers
