The Reward Partner plays a pivotal role in the design and delivery of the UK reward strategy that attracts, retain, and motivate high performing employees. This role partners with People Partners, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to maintain the integrity of the Reward Framework, job levelling, implement reward initiatives, and lead on compensation and benefits projects ensuring our approach remains fair and competitive and aligns with Admiral’s business objectives, People strategic goals and regulatory standards. As a Reward Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across a business division or large specialist function. You will use Reward data to shape decisions, drive performance, and deliver measurable impact. You will partner across the Reward agenda supporting business areas on all Reward aspects from annual cyclical events, workforce planning and organisational design working closely with the specialist people teams

Job Responsibility:

  • Act as a trusted partner to senior HR and business leaders to deliver the reward strategy aligned to business performance, culture and market positioning
  • Build deep relationships with the business as a subject matter expert by providing advice and solutions based on a thorough understanding of the business and the people
  • Continue to educate and embed a sound understanding of Reward and Admiral’s framework across the business
  • Conduct job evaluations and lead calibration exercises to maintain consistency across departments
  • Support the design, development and implementation of future Reward Framework iterations including developments in non-UK entities and any market driven changes in the current framework
  • Support the design and delivery of annual pay review, incentive cycles such as STIP, SIP and DFSS ensuring consistency, transparency and governance
  • Lead on all reward related aspects of projects and programmes across the business areas to ensure effective and accurate data driven decision-making
  • Contribute to the creation and refinement of reward policies, frameworks, and communications
  • Ensure compliance with FCA/PRA remuneration codes and internal governance frameworks
  • Create reward insights and recommendations using external market data, internal analytics and sector benchmarking working closely with the central reward team to support and inform business decisions
  • To maintain internal equity and external competitiveness work with the business to identify the impact of the annual review and conduct benchmarking and pay gap audits (gender, ethnicity, etc.)
  • Present insights to senior stakeholders in a clear and actionable format
  • Communicate complex reward topics to colleagues at all levels clearly and concisely
  • Provide the Reward Hub and other internal platforms with accurate and engaging content
  • Champion a culture of fairness, inclusion and transparency in reward practices
  • Drive innovation and process improvement in reward policies, systems and employee communications
  • Monitor external trends and developments in reward best practice within the insurance and wider financial services sector

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Reward, preferably within financial services
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • strong proficiency in Excel
  • ability to interpret and present insights from complex datasets
  • In-depth understanding of job evaluation methodologies and benchmarking tools
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills
