As a Revenue Systems Accountant, you’ll operate at the intersection of finance and technology, ensuring the seamless operation of revenue systems, data accuracy, and compliance. You will partner closely with the Revenue Transformation and Corporate Revenue teams to drive revenue data enhancements and deliver critical business insights that support the company’s growth and strategic objectives. Ideal candidates will have deep experience with revenue recognition and hands on experience implementing and supporting RevStream. This position is fully remote; candidates must be based in the United States!
Job Responsibility:
Month-End Close & Reconciliation: Participate in monthly close activities, including reconciling revenue data, to ensure financial accuracy, completeness, and adherence to GAAP
System Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor integrations between finance systems, identifying and resolving issues independently or with IT teams
Revenue Recognition & Analysis: Troubleshoot complex revenue data sets, utilizing data analytics to ensure proper revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606 and company policy
Prepare and maintain documents for system design, data flow, system procedures and general system information
RevStream Training & Support: Provide end-user support for RevStream processing, create training materials and conduct workshops to improve system proficiency
Process Improvement & Automation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, scaling systems to enhance automation and reduce manual effort
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain detailed documentation for system design, data flows, and procedures, ensuring compliance with SOX controls
Systems Management & Projects: Review, test, and implement system updates and configuration changes, assisting with transformation projects and ad hoc analyses
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of finance system and analysis experience, revenue a plus
Experience working with Salesforce and RevStream is required
Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills are required for frequent interaction with financial and non-financial management
Superb attention to detail, strong planning and organization skills, and the ability to multi-task, prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team setting
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Nice to have:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation, or ability to qualify, strongly preferred
Experience working with automation solutions, such as Alteryx or similar RPA vendors, a plus
Experience working with large datasets, including usage of Snowflake, Tableau or similar, a plus
