Job Description:

To own the design, accuracy, automation, and financial integrity of data and reporting processes across the business. The role is central to maintaining reliable datasets, developing insightful reports and dashboards, supporting revenue assurance activity, and ensuring the organisation can make confident, data-driven decisions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own the design, accuracy, automation, and financial integrity of data and reporting processes across the business
  • Own the structure, integrity, and reliability of data across Zoho CRM and Zoho Analytics
  • Design and maintain SQL queries that power core reports, dashboards, and automated workflows
  • Ensure data quality through proactive validation, reconciliation, and exception reporting
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all business data requirements, translating stakeholder needs into robust SQL and analytics solutions
  • Manage and document data logic, definitions, and relationships across key datasets
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Zoho Analytics to track performance across sales, operations, and finance
  • Continuously refine SQL models to improve efficiency and accuracy of reporting
  • Deliver ad hoc data analysis and recommendations to support operational and strategic decision-making
  • Ensure all reports and metrics are traceable back to trusted data sources
  • Produce and maintain reporting that supports financial controls, aged receivables tracking, and revenue assurance activity
  • Perform reconciliation and forensic analysis across commission, invoice, payment, and ledger data to identify discrepancies, missing revenue, duplicate clawbacks, and incorrect balances
  • Support revenue recovery activity by identifying and evidencing underpayments, negative balances, and other financial anomalies for investigation
  • Maintain accurate views of outstanding commission items, aged balances, and supplier-related payment issues
  • Support month-end finance operations, including updating commission items, validating expected versus actual values, and ensuring records are aligned to source data and payment status
  • Produce accurate partner and internal commission statements, ensuring exceptions and adjustments are clearly identified and resolved where possible
  • Assist in the review and clean-up of historical finance data, helping to close out or resolve legacy ledger issues
  • Work closely with Finance and operational stakeholders to improve visibility, control, and confidence in commercial data
  • Use Python and APIs to automate data flows, refresh schedules, exception alerts, and financial control checks
  • Build and maintain integrations between Zoho CRM, Zoho Analytics, and other data sources
  • Simplify and streamline manual processes using automated SQL scripts and data pipelines
  • Replace manual spreadsheet checks with scalable automated reporting and validation routines
  • Monitor system syncs and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Drive ongoing improvements in reporting efficiency, scalability, transparency, and financial data accuracy
  • Document and maintain clear procedures for all data and finance-related processes
  • Collaborate with finance, product, and operations teams to ensure data models evolve with changing business needs
  • Champion best practices in data governance, security, auditability, and version control

Requirements:

  • Expert-level SQL for data extraction, transformation, validation, and reporting
  • Experience with Zoho CRM and Zoho Analytics (or equivalent other relational databases/CRMs)
  • Strong data modelling and analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of Python for automation, integration, and ETL tasks
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and process documentation
  • Problem-solving ability with a forensic mindset to identify trends, exceptions, anomalies, and financial discrepancies
  • Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Understanding of finance, commercial reporting, commissions, invoicing, reconciliations, and ledger-based processes advantageous
  • Able to balance analytical work with routine but business-critical operational tasks
