Job Description

Stairmaster are looking for an experienced Revit Technician for a permanent PAYE position based in Whittlesey, Peterborogh. This position is available to start immediately.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop detailed 3D models of stair systems using Revit
  • Produce fabrication-ready shop drawings and construction documentation
  • Coordinate stair models with architects, structural engineers, and general contractors
  • Interpret architectural and structural drawings to create accurate stair layouts
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and project specifications
  • Assist with BIM coordination and clash detection
  • Revise models and drawings based on engineering feedback and field measurements
  • Maintain drawing standards and file organization
  • Collaborate with production and project management teams to ensure design intent aligns with manufacturing capabilities

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (2+ years preferred)
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings and detailing
  • Experience producing shop drawings for fabrication
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and coordination skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Nice to have

  • Experience in stair, railing, or metal fabrication
  • Knowledge of building codes related to stair design
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or Inventor
  • Familiarity with BIM coordination processes
