The Revenue Auditor is responsible for various tasks within the Finance Department and performing various other duties as required by the OMGE Controller and CFO. This position is responsible for but not limited to the daily audit of cage activity, reconciliation of cash drop to Advantage meter reports, micro's reports from restaurant and bar and activities of the kiosk, recycler, and ATM machines.
Job Responsibility:
Reconcile activities of cage and vault personnel to balances maintained in Cage and Vault
Reconcile results of cash drop to Advantage meters report
Reconciliation of e machine actual drop % to theoretical drop %
Reconciliation of table games drop to table games paperwork
Maintenance of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual performance of e machines
Reconciliation of food and beverage paperwork to Micro's reports
Reconciliation of kiosk, recycler, and ATM activities to balances as reported
Prepare accounting reports as required and ensure proper reconciliation with supporting documentation
Assist in research necessary for financial analysis, budgets, and operations analysis
Ensure that all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and controls of the organization, the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) and the Otoe-Missouria Gaming Commission (OMGC) are complied with
Ensures accuracy of work
Performs all duties in accordance with company team member handbook, objectives of the Otoe Missouria Tribe, internal policies, procedures, and controls, as well as applicable laws and gaming regulations
Forms opinions and makes decisions based on information and the identification of available facts
Investigates, evaluates information, and makes decisions regarding departmental operational matters
Continually evaluates means and methods of departmental operations to ensure maximum efficiency
Makes effort to keep informed of company information and communications
Facilitate the flow of information throughout the department
Requirements:
High School degree with experience in accounting and audit activities
Must be punctual and dependable
Knowledge, skills, and experience in hiring, training, scheduling and supervision of staff
Read, write, and speak the English language
Perform intermediate mathematical computations up to and including probability and statistics
Protect the Company's value by keeping information confidential
Perform assigned tasks under supervision
Establish and maintain positive relationships
Present facts and recommendations in oral and written form
Utilize Navision, IGT Advantage system and MS Office products at intermediate to advanced skill level
Exercise sound judgment
Travel locally, regionally, or out-of-state as needed
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
Must be able to provide documents to show eligibility to work in the United States
Required to pass a drug test and obtain and maintain a gaming license from the Otoe Missouria Gaming Commission
