Job Responsibility:
analyze weekly STR market share reports to identify performance gaps and drive pricing, inventory, and segmentation actions versus the comp set
Review Rubicon Demand Position reports to capture future demand opportunities and adjust strategy ahead of competitors
Translate marketing diagnostics (lead time, upsell, room type utilization, packages, promotions) into targeted revenue and distribution actions
Own and lead adoption of future business intelligence tools to strengthen forward‑looking, data‑driven decision making
Leverage analytics to support a total revenue management approach across rooms, channels, and demand segments
Optimize revenue through IDeaS RMS by applying last room values, hurdle rates, unconstrained demand, oversell strategies, and group displacement analysis
Manage rates, availability, and restrictions across all distribution systems (Opera, ORS, HBSi, Trust, GDS, Web) while protecting transient demand and approving high-impact group blocks
Conduct continuous pricing analysis by updating MARs, monitoring competitive sets via RateView, and identifying price‑point opportunities using Hoteligence and room type utilization reports
Own OTA market manager relationships and local merchandising strategies to maximize visibility, page placement, and participation in cost‑effective promotions
Lead weekly Revenue Management meetings to align stakeholders, drive strategic decisions, and ensure timely action on emerging business trends
Requirements:
Excellent oral and written communication skills
must be able to write clearly and effectively
Must be able to condense complex data into meaningful strategy
Ability to present contrarian viewpoint and gain consensus through business analytics
Ability to work under pressure and meet various deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage time effectively, accordingly handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
Capable of working and communicating effectively with senior management in Home Office, hotels, and other subsidiaries
Must be flexible and dependable to work beyond a standard work day when required
Strong management skills
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
