We are currently building a talent pool for future Revenue Manager opportunities expected to open in Q2 2026 across our hotel portfolio in India. This posting is part of our proactive recruitment efforts and is not linked to an immediate vacancy. Job Responsibility:

  • Execute sales strategies effectively implemented for rooms and catering business
  • Conduct analysis of revenue, profit and demand associated with hotel rooms and space inventory
  • Prepare forecasts, budgets, weekly and daily projections
  • Critique sales strategy effectiveness and prepare historical and future analysis of revenue and profit opportunities
  • Oversee the inventory management system to verify appropriateness of agreed upon selling strategies
  • Maintain the transient rooms inventory for the hotel(s) and responsible for maximizing transient revenue
  • Release group rooms back into general inventory and ensures clean booking windows for customers by effectively coordinating with sales, reservation and operation department
  • Responsible for building rates, packages and hotel sales strategy information in the hotel/s Revenue Management systems
  • Ensure hotels' sales strategies are effectively implemented in the reservation and inventory systems
  • Use reservations systems and demand forecasting systems to determine, implement and control selling strategies
  • Manage room and function space authorizations, rates and restrictions
  • Maintain effective and rational pricing strategies for rooms and function space
  • Prepare sales strategy critique
  • Ensure pricing compliance and participation in company promotions
  • Ensure all hotels follow brand strategies and standards that will maintain and/or increase hotels' RevPAR
  • Promote and protect brand equity
  • Understand the working relationships between sales, reservations and front office
  • Achieve and exceed goals including performance goals, budget goals, team goals, etc
  • Attend meetings to plan, organize, prioritize, coordinate and manage activities and solutions

  • Create long range forecast for rooms and catering by segment and update forecast every month
  • Create weekly forecast for property operations and staffing purposes
  • Conduct month end and other available system data to identify trends, future needs and obstacles to achieving goals
  • Maintain accurate reservation system information
  • Assist with account diagnostics process
  • Prepare revenue and profit opportunity analysis
  • Manage all revenue, profit and demand data associated with rooms and function space
  • Use analytical tools and systems to maximize revenues and profit
  • Identify the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts
  • Use computers and computer systems to program, write software, set up functions, enter data, or process information
  • Generate and provide accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc
  • Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintains them over time
  • Inform and/or update the executives, the peers and the subordinates on relevant information in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • A degree or diploma from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • OR 3 years experiences in the revenue management, sales and marketing, or related professional area
  • Knowledge of revenue management concepts, processes and strategies
  • Skill in using a Yield Management system and interpreting pricing and inventory reports
  • The ability to analyze and summarize detailed data to make inferences and recommendations
  • Skill in collecting information from a variety of sources relating to market data, historical cycles, travel and tourism trends, and real estate market dynamics
  • The ability to manage rooms and function space restrictions and thresholds using systems or manually in order to maximize revenue/profit across all segments
  • The willingness to learn and ability to use computer systems and software packages
  • Knowledge of economic principles and practices, P&L statements, operating budgets, forecasting and scheduling, and the reporting of financial data
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing concepts
  • Uses basic computer hardware and software
  • Demonstrates ability to add, subtract, multiply, or divide quickly, correctly, and in a way that allows one to solve work-related issues
  • Demonstrates ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
  • Demonstrates understanding of written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents
  • Communicates effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience
