The Revenue Manager is responsible for maximizing the financial performance of ADERO Scottsdale by developing and executing effective pricing, distribution, forecasting, and inventory management strategies. This role will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to ensure alignment of pricing strategies across all revenue streams while maintaining brand compliance with Marriott Autograph Collection standards and ownership financial goals. This is a highly analytical, strategic, and collaborative position requiring disciplined execution, system expertise, and market agility.
Job Responsibility:
Develop, update, and maintain rolling 365-day forecasts and budgets for occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and total hotel revenue
Conduct daily pricing reviews and implement strategies that optimize profitability across all market segments and channels
Oversee inventory management and rate loading across Marriott proprietary systems (One Yield 2.0, HPP, MARSHA, CI/TY)
Monitor and optimize performance on all distribution channels including Marriott.com, OTAs, GDS, and third-party sites to maximize channel mix profitability
Analyze and interpret STR, competitive benchmarking reports, and market intelligence to identify opportunities and risks
Collaborate closely with Sales on group displacement analysis, pricing approvals, wash factors, and revenue conversion strategies
Lead weekly revenue strategy meetings to review performance, forecasts, market activity, and recommended actions
Ensure compliance with Marriott International revenue management standards, policies, and audit requirements
Partner with ownership and corporate leadership to prepare monthly reports, forecasts, and business reviews
Monitor and support ancillary revenue streams such as cabanas, experiences, day passes, and F&B revenue optimization
Maintain an ongoing relationship with Marriott’s Revenue Account Manager (RAM) to ensure alignment with brand tools and resources
Train and mentor hotel leadership and associates on revenue management principles and best practices
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred
Minimum 2-3 years in hotel revenue management, preferably with a branded full-service hotel or resort
Marriott experience highly preferred, especially with One Yield 2.0, HPP, MARSHA, CI/TY
Experience in resort environment, multi-segment revenue management, or luxury positioning strongly desirable
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, modeling)
Familiar with STR, TravelClick Demand360, Rate360, OTA Insight, or equivalent market intelligence tools
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
Solid understanding of distribution systems, pricing engines, and channel management tools
Strong business acumen, financial understanding, and P&L knowledge
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively across departments
Flexible and adaptive to a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment
Ability to sit for extended periods working on a computer
May require occasional travel for corporate meetings or Marriott training sessions
