Job Responsibility

  • Maintain and update the chargemaster (CDM), including pricing, coding alignment, and regulatory compliance
  • Review and validate charge capture processes to ensure accurate and complete billing
  • Collaborate with clinical departments, coding, and billing teams to resolve discrepancies
  • Conduct revenue integrity audits and identify opportunities to improve reimbursement and reduce leakage
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare/Medicaid, payer guidelines, and CMS regulations
  • Support implementation and optimization of billing system updates (Epic, Cerner, etc.)
  • Analyze reimbursement trends and assist with pricing and charge structure updates

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in revenue cycle, revenue integrity, or chargemaster/CDM maintenance
  • Strong understanding of hospital billing, coding (CPT/HCPCS), and reimbursement methodologies
  • Direct experience working with a chargemaster (CDM) required
  • Familiarity with Epic Resolute, Cerner, or similar systems preferred
  • Experience in audit, compliance, or charge capture analysis highly preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work cross-functionally
