The role owns pricing, promotion and trade performance analytics for the Australian market, providing fact based recommendations that influence commercial decision making, improve execution discipline, and support delivery of AOP commitments.

Job Responsibility

  • Own RGM analytics for the Australia market, including pricing performance, promotional effectiveness, trade investment analysis, and margin drivers. Identify revenue, mix and profitability opportunities and risks, supported by robust financial and commercial logic
  • Analyse pricing competitiveness, index movements and promotional mechanics to support disciplined decision‑making. Lead post‑promotion evaluations, including ROI, uplift, incrementality indicators and cannibalisation assessment, and translate learnings into clear recommendations
  • Own end‑to‑end delivery of commercial performance reporting, consolidating multiple internal and external data sources into Excel and Power BI dashboards that act as a single source of truth for the business
  • Track and analyse perfect store KPIs including distribution, availability, shelf presence, pricing and promotional execution. Conduct root‑cause analysis on underperformance and partner with Sales teams to drive improvement plans
  • Analyse sell‑out trends, category performance, market share and competitor activity to identify growth whitespace and prioritised opportunities across customers and channels
  • Own data quality standards across commercial reporting, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems such as NetSuite, retailer data portals and third‑party providers. Proactively identify gaps, risks or inconsistencies and drive resolution
  • Act as a trusted analytical partner to Sales, Marketing, Finance and Demand Planning, influencing decisions through insight quality rather than formal authority
  • Contribute to capability uplift across the Commercial team by improving tools, standardising reporting and sharing best practices, while role‑modelling PepsiCo values and inclusive behaviours

Requirements

  • 3–5 years’ experience in business analytics, RGM, category, commercial finance, or insights roles within FMCG or retail environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, Analytics, Statistics or related discipline
  • Advanced Excel capability
  • strong experience with Power BI or similar BI tools
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear commercial recommendations
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence influencing senior leaders without line authority
  • Commercially curious, proactive and resilient, with high accountability and ownership mindset
