Job Description

Techland is looking for a Revenue Director to develop sales and monetization strategies, work with production and live ops teams, and drive revenue growth for their games.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and maintain a long-term sales and monetization strategy aligned with the overall vision of the game
  • Partner closely with the production team to embed sales and monetization considerations into core gameplay systems
  • Drive a comprehensive monetization approach focused on increasing player retention and in-game revenue while preserving a high-quality player experience
  • Work with live operations and operational teams to maximize the effectiveness of post-launch campaigns
  • Evaluate the impact of game changes and identify opportunities that can positively influence sales performance
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including production and finance teams, to build and maintain revenue forecasts
  • Ensure post-launch content and deliverables are aligned with the established monetization strategy and release timelines
  • Define, track, and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales and monetization
  • Monitor monetization and sales trends to identify best practices, optimize results, and drive innovation
  • Oversee revenue projections, analyze performance trends, and adapt strategies in real time to meet business objectives
  • Ensure effective integration of monetization mechanics with other game systems
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of revenue forecasting and forecast creation processes

Requirements

  • Extensive senior-level experience in managing digital business operations or closely related areas
  • Proven track record of driving Live Services and revenue growth in mobile, F2P, or AAA titles, including hands-on experience with monetization systems and design
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build and sustain long-term relationships
  • Highly analytical mindset with experience defining, tracking, and optimizing KPIs
  • Deep expertise in monetization strategies, along with a solid understanding of player acquisition, retention, and lifecycle management
  • Excellent knowledge of the video game market and player behavior
  • Strong planning and organizational capabilities, combined with the ability to analyze complex data, synthesize insights, and make pragmatic decisions
  • Detail-oriented, results-driven, and genuinely curious
