A Revenue Cycle Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing and improving revenue cycle processes. A Revenue Cycle Data Analyst plays a crucial role in the financial health of healthcare organizations by managing, monitoring, and analyzing the revenue cycle.
Job Responsibility:
Analyze incoming and outgoing revenue sources, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring accurate billing and collections
Collaborate with finance departments and healthcare providers to optimize revenue cycle processes and implement strategies to increase revenue
Create and maintain reports on revenue cycle performance, presenting findings to management, and suggest improvements
Create ad hoc reports on request and working closely with leadership to prepare weekly and monthly reports
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations regarding billing practices and financial transactions
Work closely with other revenue cycle and financial team members to enhance overall performance
Adheres to and supports team members in exhibiting TMCH values of integrity, community, compassion, and dedication
Adheres to TMCH organizational and department-specific safety, confidentiality, values, policies, and standards
Performs related duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics required
Three (3) - Five (5) years of relevant experience in healthcare setting
Ability to interpret financial data and identify trends
Exceptional attention to detail for identifying discrepancies in financial reports and patient accounts
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel
