Robert Half is looking for an efficient Revenue Cycle Analyst to join a contract engagement based in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. In this Revenue Cycle Analyst role, you will focus on evaluating customer agreements, applying revenue recognition guidance, and producing clear accounting support for time-sensitive project work.
Job Responsibility:
Review client agreements to assess appropriate revenue treatment under applicable accounting standards, including the identification of deliverables and timing of recognition
Develop clear technical accounting documentation covering pricing considerations, contract structure, principal-versus-agent conclusions, and other revenue-related judgments
Partner with finance and accounting stakeholders to align contract interpretation with accurate revenue recording
Create and maintain support materials that strengthen revenue-related controls and stand up to audit review
Assemble thorough, audit-ready files and address information requests from both internal reviewers and external audit teams
Contribute to initiatives that improve the efficiency, consistency, and accuracy of revenue accounting processes
Prepare targeted revenue analyses and management reporting to support business and accounting decisions
Complete structured checklist documentation for key customer contracts within project deadlines
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
At least 2 years of experience in public accounting, corporate revenue accounting, or a combination of both
Background in revenue cycle, billing operations, healthcare revenue processes, or revenue accounting is a plus
Working knowledge of ASC 606 and/or IFRS 15 with the ability to apply guidance to customer contracts
Experience producing accounting memos, control support, or other audit-focused documentation
Advanced Excel capabilities, including formulas, pivot tables, and large-data analysis
Strong attention to detail and comfort working through complex contractual terms
Effective written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
