Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Revenue Assurance Accountant to join our finance team. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our financial processes, with a particular focus on sales order management, contract compliance, and revenue recognition. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical abilities with excellent communication skills to ensure accuracy across all revenue-related activities while driving continuous improvement.

Job Responsibility:

  • Review and approve manual sales orders processed in Oracle
  • Verify compliance with IFRS 15/ASC 606 revenue recognition standards and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements
  • Analyze contract assets to identify potential adjustments
  • Execute monthly and quarterly worldwide revenue accounting close activities
  • Analyze trends and patterns across revenue metrics
  • Monitor data consistency between accounting and reporting systems
  • Develop and implement corrective actions
  • Spearhead dashboard projects to enhance data analytics capabilities
  • Support the project manager in identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Develop innovative solutions to streamline revenue accounting workflows
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to implement best practices in revenue recognition

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, sales order processing, quoting, or analytics
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
  • Order-to-cash experience is a plus
  • Strong Excel proficiency for financial analysis and reporting
  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly Oracle
  • SQL knowledge and Power BI experience are considered strong assets
  • Comfort working with complex datasets and financial systems
