The Revenue Analyst is responsible for analyzing, forecasting, and reporting revenue performance with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable (A/R). This role will partner closely with the entities within the Tyfone Group across actuals, forecasting, budgeting, KPI tracking, and ad hoc reporting. A key expectation of this role is to leverage AI tools, automation, and data optimization to enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, and ensure the Finance organization can scale for rapid growth. In addition to core revenue and A/R responsibilities, this role may also assist with payroll and other accounting activities as the organization grows and evolves. The analyst will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to provide insights, address client billing questions, and improve overall revenue performance.
Job Responsibility:
Own the end-to-end analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue actuals across all Tyfone Group entities
Reconcile A/R balances, investigate variances, and identify delinquencies or billing issues
Partner with billing and accounting teams to ensure accurate invoicing, contract alignment, and revenue recognition
Monitor aging reports, DSO trends, and support collection efforts as necessary
Support month-end close through schedules, accruals, and revenue-related journal entries
Develop and maintain revenue forecasts using historical trends, pipeline insights, and cross-functional data
Support the annual budgeting process and long-range planning for all Tyfone Group entities
Provide variance analysis, commentary, and recommendations to leadership
Collaborate closely with Sales to understand pipeline changes, pricing impacts, contract terms, and renewal timing
Partner with Marketing on campaign ROI, funnel analytics, and customer cohort behavior
Respond to customer inquiries related to billing, A/R issues, and contract questions
Assist Sales Ops with quoting support, deal desk processes, and revenue-impacting contract structures
Identify opportunities to apply AI, automation, and workflow improvements within revenue, billing, and A/R processes
Implement AI-driven tools to enhance forecast accuracy, reporting consistency, and collections efficiency
Recommend scalable processes to prepare Finance for rapid organizational growth
Promote data accuracy, systems integration, and continuous improvement across finance operations
Build and maintain dashboards on KPIs including revenue growth, revenue per employee, A/R aging, DSO, churn, CAC payback, and cohort trends
Deliver weekly and monthly reporting packages to leadership and cross-functional teams
Conduct ad hoc analysis on revenue trends, pricing opportunities, 3rd party analysis, and customer behavior
Support ERP, CRM, and billing system enhancements
Assist with payroll or other accounting functions during growth periods or transitions
Requirements:
3–5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Revenue Operations, or similar
Strong understanding of A/R processes, revenue drivers, and revenue recognition basics
Experience with AI tools, automation workflows, or process optimization preferred
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
BI tools preferred
Experience with CRM/ERP systems including Salesforce or NetSuite
Strong communication and cross-functional partnership skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have:
Experience in SaaS, fintech, or subscription-based models
Confidence interacting with customers on billing questions
Curiosity and initiative to drive process and technology improvements
