Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Revenue Analyst to join our team in Santa Barbara, California. In this role, you will play a key part in driving strategic initiatives and providing actionable insights across sales, marketing, customer success, and finance operations. This position goes beyond traditional data reporting, requiring a proactive approach to analyzing complex data and collaborating with stakeholders to implement impactful solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations that support revenue-generating strategies
  • collaborate with leadership teams to understand business objectives and develop data-driven solutions to optimize performance
  • manage and improve data collection processes, ensuring accuracy and reliability for advanced analytics
  • partner with the Revenue Operations Systems team to enhance CRM configurations and workflows for better data capture and reporting
  • design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators across departments
  • mentor and guide team members on best practices in data analysis and reporting
  • lead strategic projects and perform ad-hoc analyses to address critical business needs
  • work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and align strategies with organizational goals
  • develop and implement innovative data visualization techniques to communicate complex findings effectively
  • support continuous improvement initiatives to refine processes and optimize revenue operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • at least 5 years of experience in a data analysis or reporting role, ideally in the technology or education technology sectors
  • advanced proficiency with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce, including expertise in creating reports and dashboards
  • strong understanding of revenue operations and the interdependencies between sales, marketing, customer success, and finance
  • exceptional ability to translate complex data into clear insights for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, with a strong analytical mindset
  • proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to driving change and improving processes.

Nice to have:

A Master’s degree is preferred.
