The Revenue AI Strategy & Innovation Director is the visionary architect responsible for defining and driving AI applications across the revenue organization, optimizing productivity, pipeline creation, and decision speed across the revenue lifecycle. This role operates at the intersection of Revenue Operations, Sales Technology, Analytics, and Go-to-Market leadership and executive team. The Revenue AI Strategy & Innovation Director focuses on building and identifying high-impact use cases, redesigning workflows, running pilots, and scaling AI-enabled improvements that support predictable growth. As an individual contributor focused on strategy, experimentation, and execution rather than platform ownership or model development, this role drives organizational-wide impact through thought leadership, experimentation, and cross-functional influence. Through AI-enabled workflow improvements, accelerated return on technology investments, and reduced manual work across the revenue lifecycle, this role defines and builds a repeatable model for continuous improvement across the commercial organization. Based out of Canada or the USA (In Provinces/States we can hire in legally), this role will report to the Vice President, Revenue Strategy & Operations.
Job Responsibility
Develop the Revenue AI strategy and framework, Identifying and prioritizing high-impact AI opportunities across prospecting, pipeline management, forecasting, and customer lifecycle
Define and evolve AI roadmap across the revenue lifecycle, aligned to business objectives
Provide strategic insights and guidance to leadership and executives on where to invest to maximize productivity outcomes
Redesign seller workflows using AI signals, automation, and decision support
Translate data and technology capabilities into practical field experiences
Identify friction in current workflows and drive simplification through AI-enabled design
Lead high-impact pilot initiatives to test new AI capabilities across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
Define success criteria and measurement frameworks
Capture key learnings and present leaders with actionable insights and recommendations to guide decisions on scaling, iteration or transformation
Partner with Revenue Operations, Systems, and Intelligence to align on governance, integration, and thoughtful execution
Influence key stakeholders, senior leaders and executives with the Revenue organization to drive alignment on AI-enabled initiatives
Act as a catalyst and change agent to accelerate global adoption and minimize organizational friction during transitions
Drive the cultural shift toward an AI-first mindset, overseeing the change management strategy to ensure successful adoption across the Revenue organization
Define productivity, pipeline, and workflow impact metrics
Track and report on ROI, adoption, and effectiveness of AI initiatives
Provide executive visibility into value delivered
Lead the design, development, and delivery of revenue-wide learning initiatives focused on AI and data-driven insights. This includes driving training programs, workshops, and enablement sessions for leaders and employees across Hootsuite to build AI fluency and support the adoption of advanced AI tools and practices
Requirements
15+ years in Revenue Operations, Sales Strategy, Sales Technology, or enterprise transformation roles
Experience redesigning workflows or leading productivity initiatives
Experience running pilot programs or experimentation frameworks
Strong understanding of modern GTM tech ecosystem (CRM, engagement tools, data providers, forecasting)
Experience working cross-functionally across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Technology
Experience working in complex, fast-moving or high-growth environments
Ability to translate emerging technology into practical business use cases
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional transformation initiatives
