Job Description

Our team is working with a leading AI, technology, and strategy consulting firm looking to hire a Revenue Accounting Manager for their growing team. This role is responsible for owning key aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and international accounting standards. The position requires strong technical accounting expertise across areas such as revenue recognition, leases, consolidations, purchase price accounting, and stock-based compensation, while supporting a global, multi-entity environment. The individual will partner closely with FP&A, HR, Legal, Tax, auditors, and external advisors to analyze financial results, resolve accounting issues, and support business operations. Additionally, the role focuses on driving process improvements, strengthening internal controls, and leveraging AI-enabled tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Job Responsibility

  • Own key components of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
  • Prepare technically sound journal entries
  • Deliver reconciliations that fully tie out and withstand audit scrutiny
  • Investigate and resolve issues thoroughly
  • Apply US GAAP across revenue, leases, sub-leases, accruals, loan accounting, stock-based compensation, consolidation accounting, and purchase price accounting
  • Support IFRS and international accounting requirements
  • Evaluate accounting treatments and document positions
  • Perform detailed analytical reviews and explain movements
  • Partner with FP&A and own your numbers end-to-end
  • Support multi-entity, multi-currency environments
  • Partner with HR, Legal, Tax, and FP&A
  • Coordinate with auditors and advisors
  • Identify and fix inefficiencies and control gaps
  • Utilize AI tools (e.g., Anthropic Claude)

Requirements

  • CPA
  • 5–7 years’ experience, including Big 4
  • Strong US GAAP expertise
  • Working knowledge of IFRS
  • Working knowledge of an ERP, NetSuite preferred
