Revenue Accountant

• Oversee revenue recognition processes to ensure compliance with accounting standards
• reconcile revenue accounts to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• collaborate in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting
• provide accounting support tailored to the unique needs of non-profit organizations
• review and reconcile balance sheet accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies
• assist with monthly and year-end financial close activities
• perform detailed financial analysis to support decision-making processes
• ensure compliance with relevant accounting policies and regulatory requirements
• support audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries

• Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles and practices
• demonstrated experience in revenue accounting and balance sheet reconciliations
• prior experience in non-profit accounting is required
• familiarity with public accounting practices is advantageous but not mandatory
• proficiency in financial statement preparation and reporting
• excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• effective communication and collaboration skills
