Job Description:

This Contract to permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our dynamic IT Software industry by managing revenue recognition and overseeing key accounting processes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide revenue expertise by reviewing contracts and collaborating with Sales and Customer Success teams
  • Conduct detailed month-end revenue analyses to identify trends and key drivers for fluctuations
  • Manage the Accounts Receivable function and guide the AR team in collection efforts
  • Utilize systems like Zuora Billing, RevPro, QuickBooks, and HubSpot to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Partner with technical teams to assess the impact of accounting changes on revenue and recommend effective solutions
  • Ensure compliance with ASC 606 standards and maintain proper revenue recognition
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation to support financial audits
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize revenue processes and performance
  • Monitor AR and revenue data for discrepancies and implement corrective measures

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition standards
  • Proficiency in using Zuora Billing, RevPro, QuickBooks, and HubSpot
  • Demonstrated expertise in revenue accounting and Accounts Receivable management
  • Ability to conduct in-depth analyses of revenue data and generate actionable insights
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work with technical and cross-departmental teams
  • Experience preparing reports and ensuring compliance with financial regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
