Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Revenue Accountant to join our team in Leawood, Kansas. This is a Contract to permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial operations and ensure accuracy in accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities while maintaining compliance with financial standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Process and oversee accounts payable transactions to ensure timely and accurate payments
  • Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing and collections
  • Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all entries are properly recorded
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure completeness and compliance
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support audits and financial reporting requirements
  • Monitor and enforce financial controls to ensure compliance with company policies

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management
  • Strong knowledge of journal entries and bank reconciliation processes
  • Proficiency with accounting software and tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and trends
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Familiarity with financial reporting standards and compliance regulations
