Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Receivable / Revenue Accountant to support a high-impact data cleanup and reconciliation initiative. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys digging into complex datasets, identifying discrepancies, and building structure within accounting processes.

Job Responsibility

  • Analyze and reconcile accounts receivable and billing data, identifying discrepancies and resolving open items
  • Perform customer account cleanup, ensuring accuracy and completeness of billing records
  • Design and execute reconciliation processes across invoicing cycles
  • Investigate and resolve billing and revenue variances, including root cause analysis
  • Prepare and post journal entries related to revenue adjustments, write-offs, and reclasses
  • Generate and track refunds, credits, and adjustments tied to billing discrepancies
  • Support audit requests by preparing schedules, documentation, and reconciliations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Finance, and Operations to ensure data integrity
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve AR and revenue processes

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of public accounting (audit) and/or 1-2 years of Revenue Accounting Experience
  • Strong understanding of revenue flows, reconciliations, and accounting principles (US GAAP)
  • Experience working with large datasets and transactional detail
  • Ability to work independently and build processes in ambiguous environments
