Job Description:

The Returns and Exchanges coworker ensures a positive customer experience by resolving issues in a timely and fair manner in accordance with IKEA returns and exchange policies. This role involves handling cash, maintaining inventory integrity, and staying updated on product and policy knowledge in a fast-paced retail environment.

Job Responsibility:

Be an IKEA Ambassador and resolve customer issues fairly and timely
Actively listen to customer needs and process transactions according to IKEA policies
Handle cash according to IKEA policy
Maintain stock accuracy and inventory integrity
Stay updated on IKEA product knowledge, in-store and online specials, and policies
Assist team members with additional duties as required

Requirements:

At least 6 months of customer service work experience in retail
Amazing attention for details and ability to juggle multiple priorities
Excellent customer service skills and ability to meet customers with compassion
Comfort with computers and technology-savviness
Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment and lift heavy items up to 50 lbs

Nice to have:

Returns or cashier experience
