This Retrofit Solutions Leader position is opened at Airbus India Pvt Limited in Bengaluru, India. The position gives an opportunity to join the Airbus Customer Service Engineering & Maintenance unit department in charge of retrofit solutions. You will be working to define and deliver Post Aircraft Delivery (PAD) engineering solutions for structural and hydro mechanical technical scopes for all Airbus commercial in-service aircraft to maintain continued airworthiness and improve customer operations and profitability.

Job Responsibility:

  • Act as the main End to End (E2E) project leader and focal point for any technical open point, queries, planning, issue requiring Airbus support on an Service Bulletin (SB)
  • Collect or ensure the availability of the engineering source data needed to write the SB test procedure
  • Verify the test written by the SB Test Provider
  • Applicability calculation and ensure the 4 eyes principle is done for all Airworthiness Directive (AD) related SB
  • Initiate the SB Preparation Dossier
  • Organize the Handover meeting with the Retrofit Solutions Engineer RSE when the Solutions Embodiment Kick Off Meeting (SEKOM) decision is “Go” or “Go If”
  • Create MOD Close To Known (CTK) and approves Modification Proposal (MP) intent (Non Specific Design)
  • Identify the MOD that are applicable for a range of Manufacturer Serial Number (MSN) effectivity
  • Produce the SB Preparation Dossier including Service Bulletin Concurrent Requirement (SBCR) and Preparation sheet (MOD to be applied by MSN, Concurrent requirement, Engineering Configuration definition,Reason etc…)
  • Validate SBCR on SB_issue 00
  • Validate SBCR on SB_revision (when new Non Specific Design Work (NSDW) impact or new configuration)
  • Decide which RSL Air Transport Association of America (ATA)xx has to participate to the Technical Approval
