Job Description:

This role is a unique combination of Front Desk Agent and Concierge. Blending guest service and local expertise to deliver a seamless and memorable island experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Serve as the Hospitality Ambassador and first/last impression of the resort
  • Assist guests with luggage handling, including lifting and loading/unloading onto carts and vehicles
  • Engage with guests by 'Talking Story,' sharing island history, activity recommendations, and cultural insights
  • Provide personalized guest service, addressing questions, requests, suggestions, and concerns professionally
  • Assist with reservations for activities, dining, and special events
  • Escort guests around the resort as needed
  • Perform all check-out procedures upon guest departure
  • Maintain and manage an assigned cash float, following all resort policies
  • Respond to guest emails and chat inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Collaborate with third parties to help build guest itineraries
  • Assist with driving guests as needed in rare, extraordinary circumstances
  • And other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Legal work authorization in United States
  • Tuberculous (TB) clearance card
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts
  • Weekend and Holiday availability required
  • Warm, welcoming demeanor and a positive, guest-centric attitude
  • 1–2 years of prior experience in front desk, concierge, or guest service roles preferred

Nice to have:

Knowledge of local Lāna‘i culture, geography, and activities is a plus
