About this role: We are actively seeking client-facing sales professionals with a proven successful track record of managing an assigned territory to help identify, develop, and own client relationships. As the world’s largest asset manager, BlackRock has product and solution offerings for almost any investor’s needs. In this role, you will be directly responsible for representing BlackRock’s retirement business and delivering the full capability of the firm to retail Wirehouse, RIA and Independent advisors along with key record keeper partners.

Job Responsibility:

  • Embrace technology, data-driven targeted sales leads and the BlackRock selling system to execute virtual client engagements
  • Uncover client needs and deploy the appropriate products, solutions or resources
  • Demonstrate mastery of BlackRock’s products, solutions, thought leadership and digital platform
  • Identify and develop relationships with the current and next generation of largest and fastest growing retirement financial advisors
  • Build an efficient and thoughtful strategy to maximize engagement and influence
  • Embrace the firm’s commitment to the client experience and exceed client contact expectations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • CFP, CIMA, CAIA or CFA preferred
  • Minimum 3+ years in asset management sales
  • Strong financial services background with knowledge of investment trends and advisor practices
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong sales, partnership, and organizational skills, including profiling and resource deployment
  • Mastery of virtual engagement technology including Webex and Zoom
  • NASD Series 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65) required, willingness to obtain within first few months of employment if candidate does not hold both
  • Clean U-4
