Job Description:

Planning for your Retirement workshops are delivered virtually or at different locations in corporate meeting rooms or community settings. These one-day sessions provide holistic information for those interested in planning for their retirement. The workshops are arranged by Age UK Lancashire staff, hosted by volunteers and delivered by solicitors, independent financial advisers and health trainers. Facilitators will usually work in pairs and you will be an integral part of the delivery team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Welcoming & registering participants
  • Ensuring the sessions run on time
  • Managing break times
  • Setting up and Clearing away at the end of the sessions
  • Sharing your experiences with people

Requirements:

  • Semi-retired or retired
  • Experience of making the transition from work to retirement
  • Enjoy talking to people and facilitating groups and meetings
