Job Description:

Retirement Plan Specialist for the Tax Exempt Market

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver on-site education for Plan Sponsor Participants
  • Conduct educational seminars/webinars focusing on Plan features and investments, as well as general investment-oriented and retirement-related seminars
  • Meet one-on-one to conduct financial advisory investment counseling sessions with employees and retirees
  • Interface with Plan Administration, legal counsel, and Plan Sponsors to identify, resolve, and respond to participant issues
  • Work with Plan Sponsors to increase participation among their employees
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of presentation material
  • Assist in scheduling retirement seminars/one-on-one appointments
  • Maintain compliance with all firm and FINRA regulatory requirements
  • May provide guidance and training to more junior staff

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in retirement/financial services
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • FINRA Series 6 or 7 and 63, 65
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
  • Gathers and analyzes information and develops alternative solutions
  • Looks for ways to improve and promote quality
  • Strong organization skills
