Arrow is looking for a Retirement Benefits Manager to join the Americas compensation and benefits team. The Retirement Benefits Manager is responsible for managing the administration of Arrow’s qualified and non-qualified retirement plans in the US and Canada. This role will act as a subject matter expert with federal, state and local laws impacting retirement programs and will assist with compliance in all regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibility:
Provide leadership for the administration of Arrow’s qualified and non-qualified retirement plans
Oversee relationships with recordkeeping and custodian vendors
Support the administration of Arrow’s Supplemental Executive Retirement Plan (SERP)
Monitor plan performance and recommend enhancements
Review and audit employee and Arrow contributions from Payroll on a weekly basis
Collaborate with the payroll team to reconcile contributions
Audit retirement plan eligibility and participant data
Monitor and audit loan data
Perform secondary reviews of additional calculations and system entries
Handle escalated retirement benefit inquiries
Manage special projects as needed
May assist with health & welfare benefits as needed
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
Serve as a liaison with plan recordkeepers, retirement committee, trustees
Update Summary Plan Descriptions and applicable administrative process documents
Interpret, review and update plan policies and procedures
Lead audits and reviews of retirement plans
Develop employee communications for retirement plans
Educate, mentor, and train managers and HR teams
Requirements:
At least a 4-year degree
At least 8 years prior retirement benefits experience with progressively more complex assignments and responsibilities
Benefit project management experience
Advanced understanding of retirement benefit principles, practices and trends
Advanced Microsoft office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Proficient use of HRIS systems (Workday preferred) and benefits related web applications
Proven client relationship skills with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to manage several projects simultaneously with competing deadlines
Strong organizational skills
Advanced writing skills
Prior experience consulting with employees and HR colleagues regarding retirement plans
Ability to assess situations, understand problems and identify the root cause
Ability to keep highly sensitive human resources and compensation information confidential
Nice to have:
Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration/Management
Knowledge of industry and competitive market
US and Canada retirement experience
