Counter Terrorism Policing North West (CTPNW) is a five-force collaboration delivering Counter Terrorism (CT) services to our regional forces as well as forming part of the national CT Network. CTPNW’s mission is to work together to keep people safe from terrorism. As a Practitioner in the Retain Review and Disposal (RRD) Team – based in the CTP North West – you will work to deliver RRD across the national CT network. Working within a busy environment as part of a team you will make risk-based decisions ensuring records are reviewed and retained for a CT network policing purpose or destroyed in compliance with CT Policing’s legal obligations.

Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old
Must have at least 10 years residency in the UK
Must be a UK National (dual nationals may be considered in approved circumstances)
Must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) - Developed Vetting (DV) clearance
Must have resided in the UK for the last 5/10 years for enhanced vetting
Must evidence essential criteria marked (AF) in the application
Must pass a medical and background checks
Must have a good attendance record for the last 2 years (staff/officers) or 12 months (apprentices)
Must be able to consider a wide range of complex data to make independent decisions
