Job Description

Our client, a fast-scaling promotional gaming company, is hiring a Manager, LiveOps & Retention to join their growing Retention & Monetization team. This is a fully remote, regional role with real commercial ownership. You’ll be responsible for how players engage, return, and ultimately increase lifetime value across the portfolio. Reporting into the Director of Retention & Monetization, you’ll work cross-functionally with Product, CRM, Support, Data, and Design to create high-performing, always-on player experiences — balancing growth, engagement, and risk in a live gaming environment. This is not just campaign execution. It’s strategic retention ownership in a performance-driven business.

Job Responsibility

  • Drive and execute the end-to-end player retention strategy across the full lifecycle — new, active, lapsed, and VIP segments
  • Build and manage the LiveOps roadmap and promotional calendar, including events, bonuses, and in-game mechanics designed to increase daily engagement and long-term value
  • Design and analyze A/B tests across promotions, rewards, and offer structures to optimize monetization and player experience
  • Partner closely with Product to evolve game mechanics, engagement loops, and content that drive repeat play
  • Monitor live performance, identify irregularities, and make real-time adjustments to maintain balance, fairness, and revenue stability
  • Leverage player data, cohort performance, and analytics to refine segmentation, targeting, and offer strategy
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, campaign performance, and operational efficiency — and lead implementation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure retention initiatives align with broader business and commercial goals
  • Work alongside Data & Analytics to support modeling and deeper performance insights
  • Stay close to market trends, competitor activity, and emerging tools within the iGaming and promotional gaming space

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in LiveOps, Product, or Retention Marketing within iGaming, social casino, sweeps, or a related performance-driven vertical
  • Strong understanding of player psychology, engagement loops, promotional mechanics, and monetization strategy
  • Experience working with segmentation, lifecycle strategy, and cohort performance
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, always-live environment where decisions directly impact revenue
