Job Description:

We are currently recruiting a Customer Support Assistant to join the Retention Line for one of Switzerland's largest telecommunications companies. The primary goal of a retention line is to prevent customer churn (i.e., customers leaving the company). Agents working in this line are trained to identify the reasons why customers want to cancel and to offer solutions to keep them.

Job Responsibility:

  • Addressing Customer Concerns: They handle customer complaints, service issues, and billing problems
  • Offering Incentives: They may offer discounts, special promotions, or upgraded services to persuade customers to stay
  • Building Customer Loyalty: They aim to create positive customer experiences and strengthen customer relationships

  • Prioritize and stage severity levels based on outage investigations, managing multiple urgent trouble tickets simultaneously
  • Proactively identify area problems using monitoring equipment and escalate significant events to Level 2 or Senior Specialists for review
  • Dispatch technicians and collaborate with fix agents to minimize service interruptions and drive efficient restoration
  • Set up phone call deflection and trouble call blocking for Managed Wi-Fi issues according to company standards, escalating and documenting issues that require additional coordination
