Manage Retail operations, integrate acquisition of retail business and maximizing revenues and profit for retail commercial organization. Evaluation, development, execution & administration of new projects.
Job Responsibility:
Achieve or exceed stated objectives (EBITDA, Opex, Capex) for PEI Retail Business
Coordinate and control outcomes from main retail organizations which distribute product through a network of service stations
Ensure best results by coaching and supporting senior staff with structured development of retail networks through growth and/or optimization
Consistently benchmark and positively challenge organization to maximize results and opportunities
Ensure customers are delighted by interaction with Puma retail services
Achieve or exceed all projects assigned as much as possible to reinforce and expend opportunities with partnership to more opportunities in the Country
Ensure locations, layouts, offerings, and operating platforms are world class in quality and optimized for the markets assigned
Comply with partnership requirement to open best locations in multiple geographical locations w/out limiting logistic needs for future
Assist with structure set up on all required levels
Redeploy best practices and tools identified with management for administration and delivery of Network Planning and Channel Management (NPCM) needs
Align engineering and maintenance needs with NP with consistent and complimentary policies, processes and tools
Develop expertise through well trained & coached market planners, technical/specialty and project manager specialists across all countries
Ensure this expertise provides synergies to support sales & ops team to accomplish global retail & WS targets stated above
In collaboration with those responsible for Network Planning, Pricing, Trading, Marketing and Sales in the region, define Sales profile, targets, KPI & campaign and drive organization to deliver the Retail strategy: Volume & margins (fuels, C-store, Lubes ratio, cards) (KPI), Site profitability analysis, P&L, Lead margin sharing agreements negotiation & implementation (KPI), Operation excellence / marketing act. implementation at site level (KPI), Lead contract negotiations (KPI) and contract management execution, Bad debt negotiation (KPI), Global sales campaign & motivation programs, Develop sales training framework (attitudes, skills, competences), Manage relationship with Distributors, Resellers
Set up process for divesting or discarding of company owned service stations and real estate in assigned locations with a very strong purpose of leasing back core service stations from buyers, to ensure control of network for an extended period
Requirements:
Undergraduate University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field
Post graduate degree in Business Administration or similar field is preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in similar positions or relevant role
Significant Retail experience in Downstream
Proven record of good project management skills
Solid downstream business knowledge (can do, troubleshooting solving and adapt)
Good level of spoken and written English (preferred)
Solid knowledge of MS Office tools
Strong conceptual thinking with ability to see the bigger picture and seize well-evaluated opportunities
Analytical and strategic thinking are the key
Leadership and communication competencies to build and share vision, motivate, coach, performance guidance, deliver through the others
Strong analytical skills which would provide consistent investment returns, risk management focus to minimize less controllable market exposure (i.e.) price swings, cost of inventories, supply options, investment considerations
