Job Description

This role of Support Advisor is responsible for retailer support across a range of systems; retail pricing for retailers, host support data to POS systems, ordering and electronic invoicing, point of sale software upgrade, training for our retailers and the provision of technical customer support to our customers. It may also entail roll-out of Metcash programs with IGA Shop as an example.

Job Responsibility

  • Support retailer integration with Metcash systems
  • Host Support, electronic ordering, electronic invoicing and the provision of scan data
  • Customer support (issue logging and resolution) and project delivery
  • Support Metcash strategic retail level initiatives as required
  • Mediate and resolve retailer technical issues
  • Interact with a range of stakeholders including business team members, IT team members, external parties (such as POS Vendor Support desks)
  • Ability to solve problems assisting the business in decisions through use of analytical tools
  • Provide remote support to all our retailers Australia wide as needed
