Retail Store Associate

• Actively approach customers requiring additional help identify their needs and advise them on the best solutions for their homes
• Keep area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked
• Ensure IKEA basic merchandising standards are in place at all times
• Convey passion about IKEA products and actively learn about their features and benefits
• Build furniture as needed for In Shape As New, introduction of new products, commercial calendar implementation and remodels
• Receive inbound goods and ensure inventory accuracy
• Flow product to final selling location
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Provide customers with a simple and efficient Full Serve Hand Out experience
• Provide simple and smooth returns and exchange experience

• 1 year of retail experience, preferably in the home furnishing sector
• Experience in actively selling through understanding customers and their needs
• Requires open availability Monday-Sunday
