Job Description:

Lead the strategy, performance and evolution of a diverse retail portfolio at Summerland Farm, working as part of the Hospitality & Tourism leadership team with influence over buying, merchandising, staffing and customer journey across all channels.

Job Responsibility:

Lead strategy, performance and evolution of diverse retail portfolio including Farm Shop, Cafe, Nursery and online store
Lead, inspire and develop diverse team of around 40 staff
Drive growth by identifying opportunities to improve retail performance
Enhance product presentation and elevate customer journey
Prepare for new retail concepts and business units to launch in 2026
Help position Summerland Farm as must-visit Northern Rivers destination

Requirements:

Proven experience in multi-channel or destination-based retail
Commercial acumen with track record of improving sales performance and operational efficiency
People-first leadership style with focus on team development, coaching and accountability
Proactive, adaptable mindset and eye for detail
Commitment to delivering excellent commercial outcomes in purpose-led organisation
Prior experience as Team Leader or Supervisor highly desirable

Nice to have:

E-commerce experience
Sound merchandising skills
Experience in agritourism or destination retail
