• Proactively engage customers in need of assistance
• Identify customer requirements through questioning
• Recommend optimal home solutions
• Build furniture as needed
• Keep area clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked
• Expand knowledge of IKEA product features and benefits
• Guide customer decision-making
• Contribute to achieving department goals
• Implement and maintain Add-Ons throughout the store
• Guide customers toward high-priority and best-selling products
• Analyze and adjust sales space capacities
• Support implementation of commercial activities
• Sell and plan basic modular furniture solutions

• High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
• 1 year's relevant work experience
• Experience in retail, preferably in the home furnishing sector
• Experience in actively selling through understanding customers and their needs
