Job Description:

As a Retail Sales Co-Worker II with IKEA, you will enhance the shopping experience and provide attentive customer service to boost sales. Responsibilities include optimizing sales, building customer relationships, leveraging IKEA's multi-channel retail offerings, maintaining tidy and stocked areas, and sharing your product expertise to create a positive shopping experience. You will also support department goals, analyze sales space capacities, implement commercial activities, and uphold IKEA's strong cultural values.

Job Responsibility:

Optimize sales and maintain profitability by guiding customers toward high-priority and best-selling products
build customer relationships to understand their needs and ensure a positive shopping experience both in-store and remotely
leverage expertise in IKEA's multi-channel retail offerings to empower customers to shop seamlessly both in-store and remotely
utilize fundamental measurement and construction techniques combined with a thorough understanding of complex modular furniture planning and basic design principles
keep the area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked
ensure that IKEA basic merchandising standards are in place
share expertise of IKEA products with customers to enrich their shopping experience
understand the store and department action plans
actively contribute to achieving department goals
offer all the services available in IKEA to help customers make informed choices
analyze and adjust sales space capacities based on system parameters to secure high stock availability
support the implementation and upkeep of planned and commercial activities
contribute to an environment of strong IKEA culture embracing diversity

Requirements:

High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
2 years' relevant work experience
experience in retail, preferably in the home furnishing sector
experience in actively selling through understanding customers and their needs
