Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

  • Optimize sales and maintain profitability by guiding customers toward high-priority and best-selling products
  • build customer relationships to understand their needs and ensure a positive shopping experience both in-store and remotely
  • leverage expertise in IKEA's multi-channel retail offerings, empowering customers to shop seamlessly both in-store and remotely, whenever and however they choose
  • utilize fundamental measurement and construction techniques combined with a thorough understanding of complex modular furniture planning and basic design principles to create planning solutions that effectively meet customers’ needs
  • keep the area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked
  • ensure that IKEA basic merchandising standards are in place to give customers a positive shopping experience
  • express enthusiasm for IKEA products by consistently expanding knowledge of their features and benefits
  • share this expertise with customers to guide their decision-making
  • understand the store and department action plans
  • actively contribute to achieving the department's goals
  • actively offer all the services available in IKEA to help customers make informed choices, resulting in a better shopping experience
  • demonstrate the ability to analyze and adjust sales space capacities based on system parameters
  • support the implementation and upkeep of planned and commercial activities in your range
  • contribute to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • 2 years' relevant work experience
  • experience in retail, preferably in the home furnishing sector
  • experience in actively selling through understanding customers and their needs
