Job Description:

As a Sales Assistant you'll be supporting your store team with driving sales performance and the day-day running of your store. You'll deliver exceptional customer service and experience to optimise KPI performance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities
  • Support your team on meeting and exceeding targets through focusing on KPI delivery
  • Deliver exceptional market leading customer service to drive business growth through customer loyalty & repeat purchases
  • Offer customers a VIP concierge service, actively contacting them with updates on products and tastings
  • Demonstrate passion for product through in-depth knowledge of our range
  • Take ownership for your wine knowledge, constantly learning to support WSET qualification
  • Take accountability for the physical appearance and maintenance of your store
  • Involvement in all operational tasks including delivering wine, merchandising stock deliveries and calling customers
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational running of the store
  • Ensure compliance, safety and legality by following internal policies and completing mandatory training
  • Be an example of Majestic's Ways of Working and support for junior team members
  • As a key holder, understand opening and closing compliance and operate store without management team

Requirements:

  • Hold a full UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Able to work evenings and weekends
  • Comfortable driving a company van
  • Excellent time-management, delegation and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, able to thrive when working alone and as part of a team
  • A can-do attitude with a passion for seeing problems through to solutions
  • Adaptable and resilient to meet the ever-changing demands of our business
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Wine knowledge is beneficial but passion to learn more is essential to pass level 2 WSET wine qualifications
