Job Description

We are currently seeking an Intern in Project & Development Services to join our team. As an intern at JLL, you would work as part of our PDS team at a client site, getting involved in supporting project delivery, collaborating with stakeholders, and contributing innovative ideas to improve project outcomes.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist with project documentation, including meeting minutes, schedules, and progress reports
  • Support the coordination of project activities between internal teams, vendors, and clients
  • Participate in site visits and assist with project inspections and quality assurance
  • Help track project budgets, timelines, and deliverables
  • Contribute to the development of project dashboards and reporting tools
  • Assist with risk management and issue resolution processes
  • Gain exposure to sustainability initiatives and best practices in project delivery

Requirements

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree, with 2-3 years completed majoring in construction management, design, architecture, or engineering careers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to think and work independently
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
  • Ability to work with multiple people on a variety of differing projects and meet assigned deadlines
  • Desire to learn more about project management and development
  • Interest in construction, design, or real estate development
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative
  • Permanent US work authorization required

  • Plan and develop scope of retail projects for expansion, relocation, renovation, conversion and new ground up stores
  • Manage all resources both internal and external to meet established schedules for all projects assigned
  • Assess the retail potential in key existing Ace markets for the opportunity to “Right Size – Right Place” the store to maximize Ace market share by working closely with the appropriate stakeholders
  • Provide support in the review of potential real estate locations in cooperation with appropriate stakeholders to determine, from a project stand point, the locations’ feasibility
  • Track and maintain project updates via the current corporate project management tools
  • Periodically visit sites on all assigned projects to ensure proper installation of all work, administer punch list review and turnover to retailer and District Manager upon completion
