Join the UKI 1UL Retail Execution Team and be part of a team that delivers innovative retail activation and best in class partnerships to make our brands unmissable at the point of purchase for our shoppers. We utilise relevant insights and identify opportunities to reach more shoppers, engaging with them across the shopper journey and encouraging more of them to choose our products. We are a highly energised and creative team that can truly impact how our brands show-up in the retail environment. You will be executing onsite media (Search & Display) and retailer-partnered offsite (paid social) campaigns with our key retailers. You’ll be customer facing with our strategic retailers and their media agencies, working closely with Mindshare and collaborating with Brand, DMC, Shopper & Commercial teams. This role will deliver personalisation at scale through on and offsite media campaigns, executing brilliantly for Unilever brands. You’ll also be working directly with our customers to build and nurture retail media partnerships, ensuring the shopper journey is consistent and connected. The retail media landscape is fast evolving so you’ll need to keep up with the latest technology, be curious and inquisitive, and feel comfortable analysing and interpreting data. You’ll be responsible for planning, activating and reviewing campaigns, plus owning the optimisations and performance reporting with Mindshare and retailers. You’ll have true ownership over our Business Units media activation plans on key retailers, whilst learning from and being supported by a close team of retail media experts.

Job Responsibility

  • Plan and execute always-on onsite campaigns (across display and search)
  • Plan and execute offsite campaigns via Retail Media Networks
  • Build campaign briefs with defined audiences, KPIs and clear campaign objective, tracking and optimising performance during and post campaign
  • Lead asset creation process from briefing to final sign-off for each brand
  • Manage budget process from forecasting in PMS to raising POs and tracking spend
  • Own DDM post campaign analysis (PCAs) with retailers and share DDM and onsite search performance with CAMs, Shopper, DMC & Brand
  • Lead media best practices, ensuring Unilever media standards are implemented and tracked for all retailer DDM campaigns
  • Synthesise DDM campaign learnings to continuously improve our DDM performance
  • Upskill the broader business on DDM and retail media

Requirements

  • Retail Media experience: knowledge of Retail Media Networks
  • Customer facing experience: working with customers and/or their media agencies across growing and complex media landscape
  • Media agency management: experience briefing and managing the campaign process with agency
  • Ideal experience: Media, Shopper, Commercial, Digital
  • Project management with experience working in cross functional teams with multiple stakeholders (internally & externally)
